“Beyond Classrooms: KG-1 Explores Bhopal”
How We Organise Ourselves
Our KG-1 students had an exciting “Bhopal Darshan” city tour, where they explored community buildings like the airport, Gol Ghar, Hamidia Hospital, schools, banks, shops, and the grand Taj-ul-Masajid. A highlight was their stop at the fire station, where they interacted with firefighters and learned about their important role as community helpers.
Throughout the trip, the children demonstrated the qualities of Inquirers and Knowledgeable learners by observing, questioning, and making connections between different community roles. They practised research skills through keen observation, social skills by interacting politely, and self-management skills by following safety rules responsibly.
The tour was both fun and educational, helping the children appreciate teamwork and understand how various community helpers contribute to keeping our city safe, healthy, and happy.
