This year’s exhibition centered around thought-provoking TOK prompts such as: Why do we seek knowledge? What counts as knowledge? Are some things unknowable? What constraints are there on the pursuit of knowledge? And many more.
With these prompts as their guiding compass, students showcased a wide array of real-world objects, each one carefully selected to represent abstract ideas and to provoke reflection on the nature of knowledge.
Students were articulate, confident, and deeply engaged in explaining the rationale behind their chosen objects and connections. They demonstrated their understanding of the complexity and uncertainty inherent in knowledge systems, often questioning assumptions and exploring alternative perspectives.
What truly stood out was how students embodied the IB Learner Profile attributes being inquirers, communicators, thinkers, and open-minded individuals. They reflected on knowledge not as a fixed entity but as something dynamic, contextual, and often contested.
The exhibition was more than a display, it was an invitation to think, question, and wonder. It served as a testament to the depth of understanding that students are capable of when they are given the tools and freedom to think critically about the world around them.
Congratulations to the Cohort of 2026 for making this event a powerful testament to the spirit of inquiry that defines the IB philosophy
