Republic Day is a remarkable day in the history of India. It is the day when finally the Constitution of India came into effect on January 26, 1950. The 70th Republic Day was commended with great exuberance and patriotism in the campus of Eastern Public School on 26th January 2019. The entire ground was loaded up with devoted enthusiasm. The function began with Flag hoisting by the Head of the School which was trailed by the National Anthem which induced a spirit of freedom and unity in the hearts of young EPSites. The Head of the school addressed the young minds with his words of wisdom and informed the gathering what they are capable of and how can they take inspiration from the great achievers who have made India proud at the global map by following the concept of Justice. He emphasized on the non-highlighted but influential Muslim freedom fighters, who gave up their life for the country. The sweet distribution by the Student Council to the workers and educators remained the main highlights of the Celebration. This occasion was made more blissful by the Inter-House GK Quiz Competition in which Hazrat Uthman(r.a) and Hazrat Ali(r.a) house bagged the first position with a tie on 85 points.
