HOW EPS GROOMS REAL LEADERSHIP
Developing the future leaders is a part of the Student Council. We are committed to developing the leaders the world needs—leaders who are not only role models for today but for the future as well. Our approach to leadership development is rooted in fostering qualities that reflect the International Baccalaureate Learner Profiles as well as the Islamic Learner Profiles. We believe in nurturing students who embody these Learner Profiles, ensuring they grow into individuals capable of leading with integrity and open-mindedness. This process requires dedication and collaboration of the entire school community, working towards the holistic development of our future leaders through lifelong learning.
At EPS, leadership is viewed as more than just titles—it’s about cultivating character by instilling values of honesty, responsibility and justice, empowering students with the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide their peers. Through creative and engaging learning experiences like class-wise assemblies and field trips, we equip students with the skills necessary to become responsible, visionary individuals who are ready to take on the 21st century challenges .
Our students gain real-world leadership experience by planning and leading events and initiatives such as Project Infaaq and Model United Nations. These opportunities allow them to develop essential skills, including time management, effective communication, logistics, finance, critical thinking and problem-solving. The practical application of these skills allow students to understand the importance of teamwork, resilience, and creativity in overcoming unpredictable and unexpected challenges.
One of the standout accomplishments of the Student Council during the 2024-25 academic year was the drafting of the Student Council Constitution. This document establishes the principles, roles, and responsibilities of the Council aligned with the school’s vision and mission.
At EPS, leadership is not a destination but a journey—one that shapes students into individuals who lead with purpose, adaptability, grit and a drive to make a difference in their own academic lives and their surroundings in order to achieve highest ranks in this life and Hereafter – our final and eternal destination.
