Storytime with a Special Reading Buddy

An engaging parent-led storytelling session was conducted as part of the transdisciplinary theme How We Express Ourselves, where children explored the concept of stories through joyful interaction. Ms. Anam Shahid, a parent from our learning community, shared Goldilocks and the Three Bears using beautiful handmade puppets, making the session lively and meaningful. Guided by the central idea, “Stories help us share ideas, emotions, and real as well as imagined worlds,” children listened attentively, expressed their thoughts and emotions, and engaged confidently with peers—strengthening language skills, creativity, and collaboration.

My Experience as a Guest Storyteller with the Little Wonders❤️

As-salāmu ʿalaykum,
What a joy it was to tell a tale
To curious ears that did not fail.
With giggles, gasps, and eyes so bright,
The KG 1 class was pure delight.
They clapped, they laughed, they joined right in,
Turning each page with a happy grin.
A magical hour of stories and fun,
Where learning and laughter came together as one.
