Dr. Fraz Ahmed started his career as an MYP Science Educator and Personal project Coordinator at Eastern Public School, Bhopal in the year 2011 immediately after being awarded a Ph.D., & M.Phil., (Biosciences)from Barkatullah University, Bhopal.
In a span of more than 10 years with the School, he has attended a number of IB Workshops both MYP and DP and was a member of the IB MYP and IB DP authorization process, and was actively involved in the planning and implementation of the curriculum. Soon he became the MYP Associate Coordinator and later MYP Coordinator and DP CAS Coordinator along with which he completed his B.Ed. and M.Ed. degrees.
He holds the post of Senior School Principal and Middle School (Cambridge) Coordinator. Moreover, he is also an MYP Examiner for MYP Sciences, MYP Interdisciplinary units, and MYP Personal project.
While pursuing his Ph.D., many of his research articles/papers were published in both national and international journals of repute, he was awarded the prestigious Maulana Azad Fellowship in 2009-10. He also co-authored a chapter “Artificial Cardiac Pacemaker – Its structure, implantation and working” in a book “Cardiac functioning, disorders, challenges, and therapies” published by Jaypee Brothers Medical Publishers (P) Ltd, New Delhi, INDIA.
Dr. Fraz believes that he is a life-long learner himself and strives to inculcate the same in every child. He facilitates and motivates the students to develop 21st-century skills and to become global citizens with ethical values who can make this world a better place, as rightly said by Nelson Mandela – “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”.
