The Semester 1 PTM for Middle School and DP took place on November 2, 2024. Offering a valuable forum for parents, students, and teachers to talk about academic achievements and objectives. Teachers provided thorough feedback on students’ strengths, performance in assessments, and areas for growth. In addition, they analyzed students’ performance in IGCSE Cambridge Trial Test 3, delivering specific feedback to help them prepare for the upcoming final exams. Parents valued the individualized method and concise strategies, resulting in a more solid collaboration between teachers and parents to aid their children in preparing for the upcoming IGCSE exams. The PTM stressed the significance of maintaining consistent study habits and attendance to resolve any issues before the end of the term. The school’s holistic approach was further emphasized through discussions on co-curricular activities and students’ social and emotional growth. Emphasis was given to key elements such as the Extended Essay (EE), Theory of Knowledge (TOK), and Internal Assessments (IAs), underscoring the significance of maintaining consistent dedication. Furthermore, teachers discussed the effects of the school’s new policy on electronic devices on students’ study habits and ability to learn independently, providing advice on how to efficiently manage time and resources. Parents appreciated the open and cooperative approach and departed with a better grasp on how to assist their children during the difficult IBDP process.
