In order to untap the potential of the students, it is very important to involve the parents in the education process of their children. The more frequent and open communication takes place in an organization, the stronger becomes the relationship between parents and authorities including teachers.
Keeping in mind the child’s progress and of course the sensitive role of parents once again Eastern Public School organized a POP both for MYP (Grade IX igcse) and DP(grade XI) 9th March 2019. The MYP coordinator, Dr.Fraz Ahmed shared the detailed information regarding the IGCSE in terms of its vision and philosophy including the procedure of going through the assessments in grade X. After that our subject experts shared the importance of their subject areas with the parents. This was followed by information given by Dr Shehla Ali, the DP coordinator who enlightened the gathering by sharing the precious information and philosophy of the Diploma Programme. The aim was to make the parents well aware about the transition period of both the programmes including the learning and assessing procedures in the light of both IB as well as EPS Mission statements.
