The IB DP Extended Essay (EE) Coordinator brings over five years of experience in international curricula, including IB and IGCSE, and a total of nine years in education. With expertise in Computer Science and Digital Society, she has successfully supervised ten Extended Essays, guiding students in developing critical research skills and intellectual independence. Holding a Master’s degree in Computer Applications and a Bachelor’s in Education, she combines academic excellence with a deep understanding of effective teaching methodologies. Additionally, she has completed extensive training through IB and IGCSE workshops, further enhancing her ability to support students in achieving excellence.
Her journey with EPS began in 2019 and as the then Head of Department (HOD), she played a pivotal role in shaping the academic framework. She has initiated and established subjects such as IBDP Computer Science, IGCSE Computer Science & Information & Communication Technology (ICT), and Computing for Lower Middle School, expanding the scope of the curriculum and fostering early engagement with technology education. Additionally, she has played a key role by drafting the school’s Academic Integrity Policy and has conducted numerous sessions on the Extended Essay process, including workshops on referencing and MLA citation styles, to support both teachers and students. Her commitment to fostering academic rigor and maintaining the highest standards of IB philosophy ensures students are well-prepared to excel in this integral component of the IB Diploma Programme.
More than an educator, she is a mentor who inspires students to push boundaries, explore new ideas, and excel in their academic journeys. With a holistic understanding of the IB philosophy and a passion for student success, she plays an instrumental role in ensuring that every Extended Essay reflects intellectual curiosity and academic excellence
