Field Trip to Yodhasthal War Museum-How We Organise Ourselves
Our KG-1 students went on an enriching visit to the Yodhasthal War Museum in Bhopal, where they explored the courage and sacrifices of the Indian Armed Forces. The trip helped them recognise the Army as one of the greatest community helpers, always protecting the nation and its people.
The students, demonstrating the qualities of Inquirers and Knowledgeable learners, explored exhibits of missiles, tanks, rockets, helicopters, aircraft, and soldiers’ uniforms. They were especially fascinated by the Akash Missile, the postman’s bicycle once used to deliver messages, and the spot where the national flag was proudly hoisted after the Kargil victory.
They showed excellent communication skills while listening attentively to the guide, and their thinking skills came alive as they made connections between history and their classroom learning. Watching the Victory Video filled them with pride, while outdoor displays of tanks and fighter aircraft sparked curiosity and wonder.
By the end of the tour, the children expressed gratitude to the staff, reflecting their Caring and Principled nature along with polite social skills. The visit was truly inspiring, leaving them with respect, pride, and love for the nation’s heroes.
