“There is nothing in the world so irresistibly contagious as laughter and good humor”. – Charles Dickens The Junior School witnessed an unusual assembly on 23rd Dec 2022. The students of Grade 1A appeared with a different idea to make their assembly unique and give the audience some unforgettable moments of laughter and fun to relish.
The assembly was about the art of making people laugh with clever choice of words coupled with facial expressions and voice modulation to engage the audience.
It was also about the skills of listening carefully and enjoying spoken language. The use of critical-thinking skills in an effective way was encouraged and preparedness for learning was also focused as these are keys to become lifelong learners. The audience were fully captivated by the hilarious yet respectful classroom environment deftly created by the young PYP learners and enjoyed every bit of the assembly.
