The “Cultural day” held on 11thOctober-2019 was a very captivating event. During Cultural Day, each class represents a particular state or country and researches about their cities, food, culture and dresses to exhibit in the form of charts, PowerPoint presentations, live displays etc. This year, Grade 1 represented Goa, Grade 2 represented Uttar Pradesh and Grade 3, 4, 5 represented Kerala, Gujarat and Karnataka, respectively. In this event printouts were not allowed in order to save paper and explore one’s own creativity.
Learners participated enthusiastically and showed great team work. Students brought luscious food and alluring models too. Parents were also invited to witness their children’s hard work and learn about multiple cultures. It was surely a very gripping and successful event.
Cultural day did not only intensify children’s creative skills, but academically sharpened their mind too. They developed the learner profile open-minded while learning and exploring each other’s depicted cultures.
