On 30th August 2024, EPS had an opportunity to participate in the Inter School Chat Show organized by Bhopal’s reputed college, BSSS. DP students, along with supervisor Ms. Zonish Rafey, set on this journey. It was a platform that allowed our students to not only voice their perspectives but also to reflect on the educational values instilled in them at the institution. The chat show provided an opportunity to explore a subject that resonates with people across the globe, especially students, who are at the forefront of the social media revolution. Our students articulated their thoughts with clarity, drawing from both personal experiences and academic insights. They gave compelling justifications for and against the subject, exhibiting critical thinking and well-rounded reasoning—skills that are highly valued in our regular educational setting. The students reflected the grounds of our education system through the ISP Learner Profiles, demonstrated tolerance for opposing viewpoints, underlined the need for responsible social media use, remained honest as well as courageous with the oppositions, and remained composed while making their case. This event was a reflection of how EPS prepares students not just academically but also in cultivating a global perspective while being grounded in our roots. The qualities our students exhibited—communication, empathy, and the ability to adapt—were testaments to the holistic education they received. Congratulations to our courageous students of Grade 11 Saad Mohd Khan and Ziniya Shahwar Khan.
