Grade 2 students had a heart-to-heart exchange of understanding, knowledge, and learning as part of their unit of inquiry under the theme ‘How We Express Ourselves’, about different celebrations in India, with their Pakistani counterparts. They spoke about the experiences and rituals they had seen during different festivals in their own countries. The Lahore Grammar School students were fascinated to know that India has such a wide variety of festivals and lots of questions to ask and our students were more than eager and prepared to respond. This juvenile yet truly interactive learning opportunity concluded with a deeper and respectful understanding of the ever-so-diverse culture of the two great and neighboring nations.
