On November 16, the English Department hosted the Inter-House Spelling Bee Competition. The purpose of the spelling bee is to expand students’ vocabulary and encourage accurate word usage and pronunciation, as well as develop cognitive abilities and learning strategies. The event was highly engaging and entertaining.
On 9th November, World Urdu Day is celebrated worldwide on the birthday of the famous Urdu poet Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal. Urdu Day celebration was done during the assembly with two objectives: (i) to spread awareness of the Urdu language and (ii) Allama Iqbal’s teachings.The event was well received by both teachers and students.
